The Model 301 is an inexpensive, moderately versatile, single auger Continuous Blender designed for the thorough mixing of two or more dry solid ingredients. This particular model blender basically consists of a single helical blending auger housed in a trough or tube. Although standard Model 301 Blenders maintain specific dimensional parameters, the length of this blender may be designed to satisfy the layout requirements of a particular application in conjunction with Acrison feeders.
To provide optimum blending efficiency, a specially designed helical blending auger is furnished with Acrison's Model 301 Blender. In operation, the rotating blending auger tumbles the material while at the same time, produces a partial bidirectional flow pattern that together, effectively and efficiently mixes the dry solid ingredients (being continuously metered into it) into a uniform blend. The design of the Model 301 Blender design permits control over the retention of solids and subsequently, the degree of mixing.
The quick disconnect and/or sanitary features available with Acrison equipment provide for the rapid disassembly and cleaning of all major components without the need for tools. Sanitary equipment as manufactured by Acrison strictly complies with federal sanitary codes.
The Acrison Model 301 Blender is only furnished with Acrison's various model volumetric or gravimetric feeders to form a complete metering/blending system.
